Sure...I can deliver the clean cut, traditional photographs, where majority of the women ask me to shoot their "good side" while the rest of the bunch stick out their elbows in hopes to create the illusion that they have a skinny arm...

....OR, I can deliver photos your way which actually capture the moment and depict the energy taking place. Personally, I find these photos to be more interesting...light trails seem to be the way to go these days when it comes to shooting in clubs.

As I sit here and edit photo after photo...I can't help but find myself looking for new ways to reinvent certain images...this being one of them

Usually I shy away from photo filters, however this time, I think it works

It sure is interesting being on the opposite end of the camera!

Behold, my most recent card to date! This will be one happy birthday boy...and as for the gift? We decided to pair this card with a sensual photoshoot, producing some intimate yet tasteful photographs...a gift that will certainly be cherished for years to come!

This past week I had the pleasure of visiting the Hallmark Institute of Photography. There are no words that come to mind that could possibly convey how it felt to be surrounded by top of the line photo equipment...not to mention the creative community of photographers that came with it.

Culture Shock. 

Since graduating from the University of Michigan, I have been faced with the harsh reality that most photographers are not willing to help you. It is a competitive world out there and often times photographers will not help or refer you to someone simply because you are viewed as a threat. It is as simple as that.

So to be surrounded by photographers who are not only well established, but well respected, whose main reason for being there is to help you, was extremely refreshing. Rest assured, I took full advantage. 

I was blown away by how much insight I gained within the 72 hours that I was there. This institute covers everything and anything a photographer has to know in order to make it in this cut throat industry...I can only hope that I will be greeted with another opportunity to visit this fine institute again. 

....its basically Disney World for photographers
