Whenever I embark upon a new painting, I always document my progression. Why? Well, for starters, I think it's cool to see the evolution of a new piece and secondly, I'm a firm believer in taking my time. That said, I never finish a painting in one-sitting. It's important to take a step back every so often, and view artwork with fresh eyes.

For such a beautiful festival, the photo pits were seriously lacking. One would think that with all the time and money spent on lighting and staging, production would make more of an effort to create a better pit for documentation. Needless to say, I did the best I could. Period. Between a hidden speakeasy down a rabbit hole, beautiful art installations throughout a majestic forest, hammocks on hammocks on hammocks, paired with super talented artists and beautiful entertainers, I'd have to say that if I had to pick one festival to go to for the rest of my life, Electric Forest takes the cake! I urge every one of you to go see for yourself. To say my experience was "electrifying," would be an understatement. The Scene
